Hamburg, 27 July 2023. Since June 2023, the JOM Group, agency for hybrid marketing communication, has a new Director Human Resources at its Hamburg office in Güler Bayraktar. The 52-year-old is now responsible for the agency group’s entire human resources work across all locations.
Bayraktar has 20 years of experience in human resources and most recently worked at Upljft GmbH. There, she was responsible for optimising processes and structures in the People & Culture department as well as for creating transparency in HR structures and decisions.
Now she will bring her experience to the JOM Group and primarily drive the topics of HR digitalisation, automation and especially the area of People & Culture.
“The business in media agencies often grows so rapidly that the area of human resources also has to develop in a very short time. However, HR is often only understood as the administrative activities of personnel work. The real challenge is to keep the focus on the employees. JOM has understood this and also focuses on the area of People & Culture, where the employees as people are in the foreground,” Güler Bayraktar points out. “I am pleased to have the opportunity at JOM to rethink the topics of automation and digitalisation in the HR area within the agency group in order to make the work in the HR department even more efficient. This leaves more time for the important things in HR work, such as looking after and developing employees.”
In addition, the HR expert will advise the management on all questions of strategic HR planning as well as the executives on operative HR topics in order to develop a future-oriented HR and organisational structure.
